Assignment #1 How Do You Feel About Blogging?

How do I feel about blogging? Being as this is my first time doing an academic blog, I found it rather complicated. I came across obstacles that were frustrating but I got the hang of it after a few times of deleting my blog and recreating it. Having an academic blog will help me be, you can say, a little more open minded to what my other fellow classmates have to say on the subject. It will help me do these assignments because of how easy it can be of just logging onto the Internet. Also, it gives me another reason to be on the computer.


Creating an academic blog was difficult compared to those such as Myspace and Facebook. Looking on when my friends created a Myspace or Facebook, it seemed easier then an academic blog. It was as simple as one, two, three. This academic blog took me about a week to figure out what i did wrong. I didn't do it right because i never created a URL at the beginning of setting up my account. As I messed around with it a little more i figured out the problem. I then had to delete the blog and create another one. I couldn't quite figure out if i had to reply to the assignment on Mr. Cantor's page or through email. All of a sudden Mr. Cantor helped me with that and here I am posting a blog. Obviously this is my first time creating an academic blog. I believe it will help me do high quality assignments for the fact that when i attend college, mostly everything you do is electronic. This will help me be better prepared to what I am expected to do when attending college. Having my work out in the World Wide Web is I can say weird. Having other people look at my work is is weird yet interesting. Having other students, teachers, and total strangers look at my views on certain subjects, can really help others see what I have to say. Discussions can probably go smoothly within the classroom because i can look at my other classmates and either agree or disagree with their thoughts and opinions. This can really be the start of something new for me.


Doing this whole blog got my aggravated and heated at moments but I can really see myself getting the hang of doing this. Doing this blog like i said earlier, can help me be more open minded to others and the advancement of technology. Using this throughout the 2009-2010 school year will be interesting and of course gives me a reason to be on the computer all day and all night. Since the creation of my blog, I can now relax and be calm about what else I should expect during the school year. This academic blog will be interesting and hopefully fun throughout the year.
