Assignment #2- Reading Scatter Plots and Understanding Correlations

The scatter plot shows a relationship between height vs shoe size. It seems to show that the relationship is that the shoe size is the dependent. The taller you are, the bigger the show size. Within the graph, you can depict that as the number of people who are taller increases the shoe size gets bigger. In reality, you can see that people who are taller have a bigger foot that those who are smaller who have smaller feet. The graph also shows that it is positive correlation because it shows a positive trend although it isn't constant throughtout the graph. The outcome of this graph is Taller People=Bigger Feet; Shorter People=Smaller Feet.

This scatter plot does not show a relationship in hair length vs. height. There is not a correlation in this graph because there are two variables that make it harder to diagnose the relationship. The two variables are the gender: Male and Female. Height does not affect the growth of a male or females hair rather it is just genetics made up in them. People who are short doesnt mean that they will have short hair and vice versa. If, perhaps, we did an analysis and two different graphs one on femaile hair lenght vs height and male hair lenght vs height. Then, maybe, will we see a trend and different better showing results.
